1- Objects in a house
As you know, a house has different rooms and each room has different objects that make each room special, these objects can be furniture, kitchen items or even electronic devices that make our lives easier.
These are some examples of different objects you can find in each room:

2.1- Example
Hello! My name is Katy, and this is my bedroom. It’s a big bedroom. In my bedroom I have a bed, a desk, a red chair, a red lamp, books, and some toys.
Hi! I’m Tamara, and this is my living room. In my living room, there are three sofas because I have a big family. Also, there are some pictures on the wall, two lamps, and a small table in the middle of the room.
2.2- Describing the position of an object: Prepositions of place
When you want to describe the position of an object, you can use prepositions of place such as: in, on, under or next to. These prepositions go after the main verb of your sentence, that normally is the verb “to be”.
Examples:
The lamp is on the table.
The carpet is under the bed.
The picture is on the wall.
The armchair is next to the window.
2.3- Question examples:
Where are the flowers?
The flowers are in the vase.
Where is the table?
It’s next to the armchair.
Where is the book?
It’s on the table.
